Delete Account & Data

Updated at May 20th, 2026

Taskhico does not create its own accounts. Authentication is done exclusively through your existing Google account via OAuth 2.0. This page explains how to revoke Taskhico's access and delete any data associated with your use of the app.

1. Revoke Taskhico's access to your Google account

To sign out of Taskhico and revoke all OAuth permissions granted to the app, follow these steps:

  1. Go to myaccount.google.com/permissions
  2. Find Taskhico in the list of apps with access to your account.
  3. Click on it and then select "Remove Access".

After revoking access, Taskhico will no longer be able to read your Google Calendar events or sync data to Google Drive on your behalf.

2. Delete your backup data from Google Drive

When sync is enabled, Taskhico stores a backup of your tasks, groups, and achievements in a private folder in your Google Drive that is only accessible by the app. To delete this data:

  1. Go to drive.google.com
  2. Click the Settings icon (⚙️) in the top right corner.
  3. Select "Manage apps".
  4. Find Taskhico in the list.
  5. Click "Options" and then "Delete hidden app data".

This will permanently delete all backup data stored by Taskhico in your Google Drive. This action cannot be undone.

3. Delete local data from your device

All tasks, groups, achievements, and settings stored locally on your device can be deleted by uninstalling the app:

  1. On your Android device, go to Settings → Apps → Taskhico.
  2. Tap "Uninstall".

Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data from your device, including your tasks, groups, achievements, and preferences.

What data is retained after deletion

Taskhico does not operate its own servers and does not store any personal data outside of your own Google account. After completing the steps above:
